Can you please tell me if the property I want to stay in is available for the dates I want?
Our website is ‘Live’ which means you can be sure that if the property is showing available, then it will be free to book.

How do I book?
Once you have selected the property you would like to book, select the day you would like to arrive and click the buttom “Book Now” and follow the instructions on-line. Its that simple.

What is a security deposit and why is it required?

The security deposit, that is different from property to property, is an amount that is taken as a security should there be any damage to the property during your stay. The deposit is detailed during the booking procedure. It is held by us (as it would be if you were booking a hotel or hiring a car), and released within two working days of your departure, upon satisfactory inspection of the villa.

How much deposit do you require and when do you take the balance payment?

A deposit of 30% of the total cost of the booking is required to secure a villa. The final payment is due 45 days prior to arrival. Once the final balance is paid, you will then be issued arrival instructions for the property or to a meeting point near to the villa. Usually one of our representatives will call you prior to your arrival, to confirm arrival details etc.

How much does it cost to bring my dog on holiday?
We are sorry but most of our villas do not allow dogs. The possible exception needs to be checked case by case. We would ask that you check with us before making a booking. Can I get a discount on the rental price? We do have often discounted rates available. The best price is detailed on our website along with any discounts available. If a property is already discounted there will be no further discount available. I see there is a last minute discount available on the weekly price, but I was just looking for a short break .

Can I get a discount?
Generally, the last minute discounts only apply to minimum 7 nights stay. Short breaks already are a huge reduction on the 7 night stays and so last minute discounts do not apply. The best prices are always shown on the website for the period you are looking for. Usually minimum stays are 7 nights for July and August. Do bear in mind that for our Owners, virtually the same amount of work goes into preparing a property for a short break as it does a 7 night stay.

What happens if I arrive late to the meeting point?
Once you have paid your balance or paid for your holiday in full, we will send you arrival instructions for your chosen property. It is important that, you make sure you print off all the information regarding your booking, as this will have the arrival instructions, location of keys, or where to meet our resort representative. There will also be directions, and GPS co-ordinates issued with this information. You will have been contacted during your travel to the villa. If you are arriving late, then please do advise the resort representative. Please don’t forget your booking documents!

What happens if I cannot find the meeting point?
On our arrival instruction you will have the resort representative phone number do call him! It is always a good idea to ensure your phone has internet access during your holiday. If you have ‘whatsapp’ this is a great app. If you have internet access, our resort representative can send you a ‘whatsapp’ message, which will detail the way to the meeting point through the ‘google’ app. Many hire cars also have Sat Nav as standard.

Can I go straight to the Villa?
Before you check-in to the villa, our resort representative will have checked the villa to ensure that the villa is ready for you. Do not go straight to the villa as we will have a representative waiting for you at the meeting point.

What hours is the office open?
The office is open Monday to Friday 9.00am to 7.00pm. Saturday 9.00am to 1.00pm. Sunday the office is closed. If you need help with a booking please e-mail to booking@rarorealty.com one of our staff will respond to you shortly. If you are traveling to the property and need help please call the resort representative, his phone number is on the arrival instruction.

It says change over day is a Saturday, can I arrive on the Friday?
Most of our properties have specific arrival and departure days during the main season, so the owners and housekeepers can make sure the property is at its best for your arrival. Some properties are more flexible than others. In the low season we can, upon request vary the arrival dates for a greater range of properties.

It says not to arrive before 5pm. Can I arrive earlier than this?
Many housekeepers clean a number of properties on a changeover day and therefore your property may not be ready before 5pm. We cannot guarantee any early entry, but you can call the resort representative on the day of arrival to see if this is possible. Equally departure is by 10am so housekeepers can get the property ready for the next guests.

Unfortunately we need to change the dates of our holiday, how can we do this?

We will try accommodating any change required to your planned holiday dates providing the property you would like to book is available on your new dates. Just send us an e-mail or call the number detailed on the website. Can we smoke at the property? Unfortunately smoking inside is not permitted. It may be possible to smoke outside, but we ask that all cigarettes are distinguished as there is a risk of fire. This is particularly important during the hot summer months.
