Cocotrullo is a 4 bedroom 4 bathroom Trullo and Lamia.
This Trullo features in the magazine ‘Architectural Design’ for its modern contemporary style, original features, and quirkiness.

The Trullo is between Ostuni and Cisternino and ideally placed for those wanting to visit the many historical sites of Puglia. The trullo is private, with an infinity pool, measuring 4m x 20m approximately, and 2m deep. The pool is a wonderful design and ideal for swimmers. There is also a cleaverly placed mirror, which reflects the pool, and gives an illusion of infinity, both with the views over the countryside, and the strategic position, overlooking the Cisternino countryside.

Outside there is also a Jacuzzi, wooden decking, outdoor covered veranda, and large outdoor tables which are positioned near to the kitchen, and then near the BBQ area, which has a large concrete table, with wooden tree trunks for seating. Inside there is a modern kitchen with central island unit, made from stainless steel, with a five ringed gas hob and small BBQ coals ideal for ‘searing and cooking meat and vegetables’, Oven and microwave built into the wall. Double stainless steel sink and drainer with dishwasher. Plenty of storage under the sink, Large fridge freezer, and plenty of hidden cupboard space. Clean lines, mixed with modern and old.

The lounge has an internal door from the kitchen, and also a door to the patio area. A 42”TV nestled in an alcove, where you can enjoy Italian TV. From here there are doors to the house bathroom, painted sky blue, with shower, and a separate area with a toilet and bidet, A modern yellow basin with special lighting adds to the character of this room.

This bathroom is constructed separate from the main building but connected by a small glass panel on three sides, which is funky and original with a view of the sky and outside area, but with no view from the outside into the bathroom area.

The flooring is a mixture of old stone, and modern polished grey concrete, again cleaver use of materials, to give this property bags of character. From the kitchen, which is the ‘hub’ of the property, there is the master bedroom, with four poster bed, made of modern materials. En-suite shower room with bidet, toilet and sink. Hanging space, wall mirror, and a door to the external seating area. There is a 2nd large double bedroom (currently the yellow room), which also has a wall mounted TV, En-suite shower with mood lighting in the shower, square marble sink. In this bathroom, there is a special feature, where the shelving has been ingeniously designed to open into the utility room, where you will find the washing machine, and storage area. Every space, nook and cranny is used to design specific features and what make this trullo so special. Ideal for someone who has an appreciation for modern and contemporary design.

Through a stone arch there is another room, which can be used as a bedroom (with sofa bed), or another lounge area, ideal for reading and chilling. There is also a door from this room to the outside seating area. This trullo has a melting pot of old and new, shapes, and mood lighting with bespoke fixtures and fittings.

Across from the main property, and behind the mirrored panel which reflects the pool, you will find another double bedroom, with feature full length window, which connects the outside gardens with the inside. There is an outdoor shower and small bathroom, with sink and toilet. To the lower level of the property, there is another double bedroom, which opens up onto a gravel courtyard, where there is another covered veranda. Ample parking Vegetable garden, which guests are free to use during their stay.

Everything you will need to enjoy your holiday in Puglia.
