Accommodatie Villa Gerundina is een mooie stenen woning (400 m2) met privé zwembad, jacuzzi en WiFi internet. De woning is comfortabel geschikt voor max. 12 personen in zes slaapkamers en vijf badkamers. Er is een golfbaan in de buurt als u een partijtje golf wilt spelen tijdens de vakantie.

Wat Staat U Te Wachten
Wanneer u aankomt wordt u ontvangen door de eigenaar of beheerder en vindt u een fraaie, schone en goed onderhouden woning met uitzicht over de heuvels en de bergen ideaal voor een ontspannen vakantie in Toscane. Na een hectische dag toeren kunt u de tijd doorbrengen met vrienden en familie bij het zwembad, en genieten van een glaasje wijn - een perfecte manier om te uitrusten aan het einde van de dag. Op het terrein is er voor uw genoegen een speeltuin, patio, barbecue en jacuzzi. Als u van koken houdt is er een goed uitgeruste keuken met o.a. koffiezetapparaat, magnetron oven, broodrooster, fornuis en ijskast en natuurlijk voldoende servies en bestek voor tot 12 personen. Als u liever buiten eet is er een veranda met tuinmebilair waar u van het weer kan genieten terwijl u buiten eet.

Toeristische Attracties

Florence is just 35 min from the Villa and can be easily reached by car or scheduled bus service. Our staff will be happy to recommend itineraries to follow or book your Walking Tour of the city of Dante Alighieri, Michelangelo and Leonardo da Vinci. With three (3) days advance notice we can reserve your admission tickets to the city’s most important museums so that you can enjoy them without long waits outside.

Siena is a place of great historic and artistic interest barely 45 min from the villa Sites to see include the Cathedral and Piazza del Campo where the famous Palio horse race is run twice a year: on July 2nd (Palio di Provenzano) and August 16th (Palio dell’Assunta) ten of the city’s districts participate in the horse race to win the symbolic cloth; each district is assigned one of the ten, fit horses that are selected to compete. The assignments are made on June 29th and August 13th for the July and August Palio, respectively. This ritual is known as the Tratta and it marks the beginning of 4 days of festivities.
To reach Siena, take the Firenze-Siena Superstrada, towards Siena and exit at Siena Nord.

A 35 min drive will take you to San Gimignano, a farming town in the province of Siena famous for its medieval towers and the Vernaccia wine. Vernaccia di San Gimignano is one of the finest white wines anywhere and is only made in a small area of Tuscany between Siena, Pisa, and Florence. It is known worldwide and was the first Italian wine to obtain DOC (Denominazione di Origine Controllata – Certified Controlled Origin) designation in 1966. The famous Torture Museum is located within the city's medieval walls. Visit also the Torture Museum within medieval city walls.

Pisa (70 min) certainly needs no introduction. The Leaning Tower, built of pure white marble between the twelfth and fourteenth centuries is certainly one of the world’s most famous monuments that must be seen. The tower is located next to the Cathedral in Piazza dei Miracoli.

The Villa masterpiece is the swimming pool and the heated jacuzzi. Walk down the stone steps from the main Villa to the pool area with a fragrant landscape garden that offers the perfect place to relax and cool down on a Tuscan Summer's day.
By the pool area our guests can also enjoy the barbecue for their "al fresco dinners".
