Villa Laudomia is a beautiful stone building (600 sq m) with air conditioning, private pool and hot tub. The property can accommodate up to 20 guests comfortably in 11 bedrooms with ten bathrooms. Villa Laudomia is located in Tavarnelle Val Di Pesa, Italy and only 24 km (15 mi) from Greve In Chianti in the tourist area "San Gimignano And Surroundings".

The property consists of a main building and an annex comprising two double bedrooms.
In case of reduced capacity (16 guests or fewer), the annex will remain closed and will not be usable.

The Garden
The villa has a huge and wonderful garden all around the property. It features olive trees and Tuscan cypress trees, colorful and flowering plants as well as camellias, cyclamen, lavender, roses of all kinds and colors, and maintained lawns... it is a triumph of natural scents!

On both sides of the Villa, there are two paved terraces for the exclusive use of the guest, with coverage and an outdoor dining area (large sofas and chairs offer full relaxation during the summertime) with fantastic views.

The pool features a big, mosaic-clad whirlpool, and gentle cascades.

Attractions

The nearest village is Tavarnelle Val di Pesa, just 2 km away, also reachable on foot. There the tourist can find cafes, groceries, supermarkets, and shops for all their needs.
There are a lot of other sights nearby that are worth visiting: medieval villages, ancient castles, and monasteries from the 10-11th century. The exceptional and lovely location of The property, right in the heart of Tuscany, allows the tourist to quickly reach the most famous centers of Tuscany: Firenze, Siena, San Gimignano, Volterra, Forte dei Marmi, Maremma Toscana.
Florence is just 35 min from the Villa and can be easily reached by car or scheduled bus service. Our staff will be happy to recommend itineraries to follow or book your Walking Tour of the city of Dante Alighieri, Michelangelo, and Leonardo da Vinci. With three (3) days advance notice we can reserve your admission tickets to the city’s most important museums so that you can enjoy them without long waits outside.

Siena is a place of great historic and artistic interest barely 45 min from the villa Sites to see include the Cathedral and Piazza del Campo where the famous Palio horse race is run twice a year: on July 2nd (Palio di Provenzano) and August 16th (Palio dell’Assunta) ten of the city’s districts participate in the horse race to win the symbolic cloth; each district is assigned one of the ten, fit horses that are selected to compete. The assignments are made on June 29th and August 13th for the July and August Palio, respectively. This ritual is known as the Tratta and it marks the beginning of 4 days of festivities.
To reach Siena, take the Firenze-Siena Superstrada, towards Siena, and exit at Siena Nord.

A 35 min drive will take you to San Gimignano, a farming town in the province of Siena famous for its medieval towers and the Vernaccia wine. Vernaccia di San Gimignano is one of the finest white wines anywhere and is only made in a small area of Tuscany between Siena, Pisa and Florence. It is known worldwide and was the first Italian wine to obtain DOC (Denominazione di Origine Controllata – Certified Controlled Origin) designation in 1966. The famous Torture Museum is located within the city's medieval walls. Visit also the Torture Museum within medieval city walls.

Pisa (70 min) certainly needs no introduction. The Leaning Tower, built of pure white marble between the twelfth and fourteenth centuries is certainly one of the world’s most famous monuments that must be seen. The tower is located next to the Cathedral in Piazza dei Miracoli.

Several tennis clubs are located in the villages near Tavarnelle as well as the biggest one that is in Florence (just 30 minutes' driving from the villa).

Tavarnelle VAl di Pesa has a public transport service with daily direct connections to the main cities of the Chianti area (Florence, Siena, ...). Buses runs regulary day and night.

The Suite la Casetta
The Suite la Casetta is composed from a lovely living room with fireplace and sofa, little kitchen and double bedroom with private bathroom with shower. The Suite has Air Conditioning and mosquito net.

First floor
On the Villa First Floor are located Six Double Bedrooms (Queen Size bedroom, 170x190 cm) and a a Twin Bedroom ( 85x 180 cm), joinable in case of needs; all with air conditioning, internet Wireless access and mosquito net, en-suite private bathroom with shower and wonderful views from large and bright windows.

A nice curiosity to know: each bedroom is called after the old names of the Tuscan countrysides: Il Fattore; La Massaia; Il Sensale; Il Guardia; Il Garzone; Il Contadino; Il Treccone.

Second Floor
On the second floor, "in the tower", that was the ancient pigeon loft of the farmhouse, there is the double bedroom (Queen Size bedroom, 170x190 cm) Il Capoccio, form where guests can enjoy a wonderful view over the garden of the Villa and the surrounding countryside.

Cottage Il Poggiarello:
Other two bedrooms are located in the cottage close to the Villa, a double and a twin one (joinable in case of need), both equipped with all comfort and amenities.

Bathrooms

Each bathroom of the Villa and the cottage are equipped with shower, hairdryer and all the required amenities for a comfortable stay.
Each guests has his own set of towels (3 bath towels and 1 pool towel).

Kitchen

The Main Villa has 3 different kitchens: the main kitchen on the ground floor, one in the suite La Casetta and a little kitchen on the first floor, all well-equipped.

The main Kitchen
The main kitchen is equipped with all the necessary to cook for 20 people, it is furnished with oven, fridge, dishwasher, microwave, boiler, american coffee maker, italian coffee maker and espresso coffee maker, ice-maker, blender... It is next to a large dining room with an ancient fireplace, a wood table in modern style and chairs at Guests disposal.
From the large dining room it is possible to access to the out door areas provided with all the necessary equipment for enjoying open-air lunches and suppers, furnished with 2 barbecues for grilling during the warm summer nights.

La Casetta Kitchen
this is the independent kitchen of the suite, inside of the main Villa, well-equipped with a large stove with oven, fridge, microwave and dishwasher, space to eat and direct access to the outside of the house.

Cottage Kitchen
In the Cottage there is the 4th kitchen of the entire Villa, with a large brightly window overlooking the swimming pool. well-equipped with oven, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine, american coffee maker and fridge, it has a large area with wood table and chairs where you can enjoy a typical tuscan lunch.

Sitting Room

The Villa has three spacious living room and another one is in the cottage next to the main Villa.

Main Living room:
A large paved area, once the farmyard, leads into a big, characteristic terracotta room with stone walls, open beams and arches that offers a truly unique relaxing atmosphere thanks to the decorative fireplace in the typical Tuscan style. Here our guest can relax and enjoy this nice atmosphere on two comfortable and large sofas that ensure a perfect rest.

Living Room on 1st floor
in the upper floor another spacious and bright living room is at the disposal of our guest. This area is elegantly furnished in typical Tuscan country-style and equipped with large and comfortable sofas in front of an ancient decorative fireplace. Imagine yourself with a cup of tea or a glass of good wine, your favorite magazines, seated on a cozy sofa, fireplace in front of you.... what else?

Tv Room on 1st floor
This is also the floor of a large TV room where guests can find a comfortable and large sofa and a smart widescreen TV with multiple channels, Netflix movies and radio channels, with special movie effects and sounds.

Living Room in the Cottage:
Next to the main Villa a private and independent cottage opens into a spacious and brightly living room equipped with sofas and smart TV in a typical Tuscan atmosphere: beams and rustic furnishing complete with every comfort desired.
