The service that protects your stay: from cancellation protection to coverage against accidental damage.

Raro Care is designed to offer you maximum peace of mind before and during your holiday, providing special protection in case of unforeseen events that make your trip impossible, as well as coverage for any accidental damage caused to the property.

1. Trip Cancellation Protection

Raro Care, included for all bookings from 01/02/2026, protects the traveler in case of objectively documentable unforeseen events.

  • If the booking is cancelled or modified for reasons beyond the traveler's control, contractual penalties will not be applied.
  • The traveler will only be responsible for an amount equal to 20% of the applied penalty.
  • In the event of death or hospitalization, no deduction is applied.
  • The guarantee extends to family members up to the second degree and one travel companion.

2. Accidental Damage Protection

If you cause accidental damage to the property during your stay, the owner will be reimbursed for replacement or repair. Please note: the level of protection applied depends exclusively on the chosen property (it is not an option selectable by the guest):

Standard Option Up to €5,000.00

Coverage for accidental damage from €1.00 to €5,000.00 included in the service.

Plus Option Up to €10,000.00

For damages exceeding €1,000.00. A security deposit of €1,000.00 is required for the initial deductible.

Check-out verification: Before departure, it is necessary to check the state of the property with the owner or their representative and sign the technical sheet indicating any damage occurred.

Service Exclusions

The Raro Care service does not apply in the following cases:

Cancellation
  • Epidemics and pandemics declared by competent Authorities
  • Criminal acts resulting in restriction of personal liberty (unless direct victim)
  • Nuclear reaction, radiation, or radioactive contamination
  • Acts of terrorism, civil unrest, political turmoil, or strikes
  • Self-harm, suicide, or attempted suicide
  • Events known, expected, or foreseeable at the time of booking
  • Fear of flying or traveling
  • Trips taken to undergo medical/surgical treatments
  • Insolvency or bankruptcy of the travel service provider
  • Acts committed with intent (fraud/wilful misconduct)
  • War or acts of war
  • Worsening of pre-existing and/or chronic conditions
  • Acts or bans issued by governments or public authorities
  • Environmental pollution or contamination of any kind
  • Ordinary or seasonal weather events
Damage

The following are expressly excluded from the service, including but not limited to:

  • Interventions resulting from repair or restoration operations
  • Damage due to manufacturing defects of the damaged goods
  • Damage attributable to normal wear and tear
  • Wilful acts or intentional damage
  • Atmospheric events, natural phenomena, and/or earthquakes
  • Damage resulting from fire (except for accidental burns, e.g., cigarettes/candles)
  • Theft
  • Cleaning costs
  • Damage to kitchenware/crockery

Information about Raro Care

Payment: Raro Care is included in the 6% Agency Fees paid at the time of booking.

Validity: Damage guarantee is active from check-in to check-out. Cancellation protection is active from the moment of booking.

Cancellation: As it is a temporary service linked to the booking, no separate cancellation is provided.
